Automatic filling machine for forming, filling and sealing suppository packages. Vertical FFS (Form, Fill and Seal) machine.
The suppository mass is kept in a jacketed mixing tank.
Pre-sealing (Base and Contour Sealing): Two rolls of aluminum foil are placed in the machine and guided vertically through the forming station. Two strips of aluminum foil are cold-formed and sealed, leaving an opening at the top.
Filling: The suppository mass is filled into the blister capsule cavities. Nine filling needles fill the blister capsule cavities with the suppository mass, which then proceed to the carousel tunnel unit for cooling.
After the product has cooled and hardened, the top of the blister is sealed.
