Softgel Line Production Flow.
The manufacturing process of soft capsules occurs continuously through the following stages:
1 – Gelatin preparation
The gelatin is melted in a heated tank, forming a homogeneous solution used in capsule manufacturing.
2 – Formation of gelatin ribbons
The liquid gelatin is distributed in a ribbon forming system, creating two gelatin sheets with controlled thickness.
3 – Capsule molding
The two ribbons pass between the encapsulation machine rotary dies, where the die defines the capsule shape.
4 – Product dosing
The dosing pump system injects the liquid inside the capsule, allowing encapsulation of vitamins, oils or liquid solutions.
5 – Capsule sealing
The dies close and perform the forming and sealing of the softgel capsule.
6 – Capsule transport
The newly formed capsules are conducted by conveyor belt to the drying system.
7 – Initial drying
The capsules pass through the tumble dryer, where initial drying and capsule stabilization occur.
8 – Curing and stabilization
After initial drying, the capsules proceed to the final drying and stabilization process, completing the production process.
