How an industrial soap extruder works:
Soap Mass Feeding: The soap mass is prepared in previous stages of the production process and fed into the extruder.
Compression and Extrusion: Inside the extruder, the soap mass is subjected to pressure and mechanical force using a helical screw (similar to what is used in plastic extruders) or another mechanism. This causes the soap mass to be compressed and forced through a die of the desired shape.
Shaping and Cutting: As the soap batter is extruded through the die, it is shaped into bars of soap. The size and shape of the bars are determined by the matrix configuration.
Cooling and Solidification: After extrusion, the soap bars are cooled to solidify. This can be done through cooling tunnels or other devices that control temperature and humidity.
Cutting and Finishing: After solidification, the soap bars can be cut to the desired size. Some extruders may also have automatic cutting and finishing systems.
Packaging: The finished soap bars are then sent to the packaging stage, where they are packaged according to the brand's requirements.
