How an industrial bag filter works:
Pollutant Capture: The bag filter is installed in a strategic location where the exhaust gases contain solid particles or dust. Exhaust gases enter the collection system and are directed into the bag filter.
Mechanical Filtration: Inside the bag filter, the exhaust gas passes through filter bags, which are usually tubes made of fabric or similar material. The solid particles present in the gas are retained by the filter bags due to their porous nature and the mechanical filtration process.
Particle Collection: As particles accumulate in the filter bags, they form a layer of particulate matter. Periodically, this layer of particles is removed from the bag filter to prevent clogging and maintain process efficiency.
